Born in 1946, Eddie moved with his family to New York in 1954, and it was there his musical passions blossomed and were soon showcased in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall. During his teen years, Eddie moved to Philadelphia and it was here that his ultimate dream materialised as he released "This Can't Be True, Girl."
