The Lambrettas

The Lambrettas

One of the pioneers of the Alternative age, The Lambrettas were formed in the late 1970s and signed to Rocket Records. Best remembered for their single Poison Ivy and the album Beat Boys in the Jet Age, they called time on their career after only 8 singles and 2 albums. In 2009 after the anniversary of Quadrophenia, original members Doug Sanders and Paul Wincer recruited Chris Venzi-Jones and Phil Edwards and began touring again with their music as lively as it ever was.
