Hazell Dean began her career in the mid 1970s but it wasn't until the mid 1980s that she achieved mainstream success. As "The Queen of Hi-NRG" she scored her first Top 10 hit with Searchin' (I Gotta Find a Man) in 1984 which was then followed by the Stock, Aitken and Waterman produced track Whatever I Do (Wherever I Go). She would go on to achieve worldwide success charting across Europe as well as America, South Africa, Australia and the Far East.
