The Tremeloes

Founded in Dagenham Essex in 1958, British Rock ā€™nā€™ Roll band The Tremeloes started out as Buddy Holly and The Crickets imitators. Their big hit Twist And Shout in 1963 was also recorded by The Beatles. This was followed by a chart-topping cover of The Contours US Million-seller Do You Love Me. They had seven Top 10 success with hits such as Here Comes My Baby and My Little Lady, hitting Number 1 in 1967 with Silence Is Golden.
